An original title page from Volume 13 of the Sanborn Fire Insurance atlas for Bronx, New York, 1914. This original title page (engraving) boasts the beautiful typography that Sanborn is known for. Sanborn created their own fonts to make these striking title pages. As can be seen in the photos, the title page is a bit wavy and has stains, as well as repairs from constant use. In the bottom right hand corner, there is also a pasted on record of updates made to the individual maps in the volume. This item is matted in an acid-free standard 20 x 30 mat.
