An original, hand-colored engraving of a Braque or hunting dog and a Bordeaux mastiff from Comte de Buffon's "Histoire Naturelle," circa 1825. This is a small antique print measuring 5.25" x 8.75" that is matted in an acid-free, standard-size 11" x 14" white-core mat. The mat opening is 4" x 7." The print is in excellent condition with no stains or tears.
