Original 16th Century woodcut / bookplate of the citria malus and limonia malus trees with descriptive text in Gothic German. This beautiful print comes from Adam Lonitzer's "Krauterbuch," published in Germany, 1569. The print is double-sided, is on laid paper and due to its age has stains and creases. It is matted in an acid-free standard 11 x 14" white-core mat. The print itself measures 7.75 x 12.25." This is an original, antique print, not a reproduction.
