Vintage, Art Deco wallpaper or upholstery design sheet from "Schmuckformen fur die Flache," published by Christian Stoll, Plauen Germany, circa 1925. These wonderful design sheets were created by using stencils and painting the designs with gouache. These were used as suggestions for wallpaper, upholstery, textiles etc. This original item is matted in an acid-free standard 11 x 14" white core mat. The mat opening is 7 x 9.5". As can be seen in the photos, the piece is on the publishers original black paper backer, which is chipped and frayed, but is covered by the matting. Please email me with any questions.
