Antique chromolithograph showing sputum from an abscess of the lung, from gangrene of the lung and a large fibrinous coagulum. This is an original bookplate taken from Dr. Christfried Jakob's "Atlas of Methods of Clinical Investigations with an Epitome of Clinical Diagnosis and Special Pathology and Treatment of Internal Diseases" (Philadelphia, 1898). The print measures 4.75 x 7.25" and is matted in an acid-free, standard 8 x 10" mat.
